Practice Profile

Jason is developing a broad civil practice with emphasis on civil fraud, asset recovery, bankruptcy and insolvency, commercial and company, and personal injury matters.

Jason has appeared at various court levels as sole advocate and led junior. He also has rendered written advice and prepared for hearings (such as interlocutory injunction and winding-up petition) on an urgent basis and has conducted cross-border litigation involving analysis of foreign law (including PRC law) and collaboration with overseas lawyers.

Apart from litigation, Jason also maintains a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation.

As regards his training, Jason served pupillage with Martin Ho, Lawrence Hui, Lincoln Cheung, Carter Chim, and Simon Wong. He also served as a marshal of the Honourable Mr Justice Coleman as part of his pupillage. During his undergraduate studies, Jason was awarded 1st Runner-Up in the Basic Law Mooting Competition and the APAA Prize in Issues in Intellectual Property Law or Copyright Law. In addition to his civil practice, Jason also accepts instructions in criminal matters and has been instructed by the Department of Justice as fiat prosecutor.
