Prior to joining Tower Chambers, Betty completed pupillage with Mr. Peter Duncan S.C., Mr. Derek Chan S.C., Mr. Kenny Lin, Mr. Raymond Tsui and Mr. Charles J Chan.

Betty accepts instructions in all areas of work. She has appeared before the Magistrates’ Courts, the District Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal (either as led junior or as sole advocate).

HKSAR v Tsang Yam Kuen Donald (曾蔭權) [2019] 22 HKCFAR 176, appeared for the ex-Chief Executive of the HKSAR in relation to allegations of corruption and misconduct in public office (led by Clare Montgomery Q.C. and Derek Chan S.C.).

HKSAR v Chu Wai Man [2019] HKCFI 1446, criminal proceedings in relation to trafficking in dangerous drug.

HKSAR v Tsui Kwok Cheung [2018] HKDC 400, criminal proceedings in relation to dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

HKSAR v Ip Wing Lun [2016] 1 HKLRD 801, appeared for the appellant accused of conspiracy to defraud and conspiracy to offer advantages to an agent.

Secretary for Justice v Lo King Fat [2015] HKEC 2688, an appeal against sentence concerning corruption and bribery offences.
